What Our Clients Say

  • "The operators of this organization are dedicated to the wellness of others. I had a freak injury that inhibited my mobility for months and they developed a customized program in which they managed throughout my recovery. I followed their direction and learned from their insight and fully recovered without seeing a doctor or surgeon. I am truly grateful for the care they provided me."

  • "Clarissa has been extremely helpful throughout my bicep recovery process. Her carefully constructed rehabilitation program has helped me not only to heal but to feel stronger than I was before the injury. Additionally, her individualized strength programming has helped me reach new levels in several other focus areas as well. Cannot recommend Momentum enough."

  • "I’ve been working with Clarissa for months now on a variety of American Football related injuries. She has been nothing short of phenomenal! Knowledgeable, personable, and tremendous at helping me get game ready for this season. I would give her 10 stars if I could!"

  • "I discovered Clarissa at Momentum Performance and Physical Therapy after a traumatic injury to my lower back and left shoulder that were preventing me from working full time. I was in near constant pain and was beginning to think it would never end and that I was simply going to have to adjust my lifestyle to this new terrible normal. Clarissa listened to my fears, but also to my hopes. She took her time assessing what was really going on in my body, what areas needed strengthening as well as which areas needed relaxing and developed a dynamic plan to address both of my injuries and help me recover and heal from both. As my injuries recovered, her focus and plan shifted to strengthening those areas to reduce the risk of future re-injury and to make sure that I could not only return to work full time, but also return to the activities I love - kayaking, hiking, bike riding, yoga and gardening. Along the way, she adapted my plan to create room for urgent and emerging needs, such as when I got ducks and needed to re-learn how to safely lift 5 gallon buckets of water and throw them over a 6 foot fence without re-injuring my back or shoulder. She accommodated these curveball requests with grace and flexibility, helping me believe I would get back to my old, healthy, pain free, normal again. What I appreciate the most about Clarissa's approach is that she meets her clients where they are at each visit and listens to what they want and need and builds dynamic, fluid plans to help them reach their long term goals, while hitting smaller milestones along the way. Clarissa helped me feel empowered and reminded me to celebrate all of my successes, big and small, along the way to recovering my strength, mobility and stamina. Not only am I back to doing the things I love, but I have a toolbox full of options for managing small strains and minor injuries as well as the knowledge of how to move in ways that support my body and keep my momentum moving forward."

  • "I cannot recommend Momentum enough! I severely sprained my foot a year ago, and I have been seeing Sarah for about the last ten months. I have been doing ballet pre-professionally for over 20 years, and this was the first injury I've had that has taken me out of dance. I was in a boot for several weeks and could barely walk without a limp for many months after that. I was very nervous about finding a physical therapist who would understand my movement needs as a dancer and who could help me get back to the level I was at before I injured myself. I was lucky enough to meet Sarah at a previous clinic, and from the very beginning I felt like she truly listened to and understood my concerns. After seeing Sarah for about six months at the previous clinic, I decided to follow her to Momentum to continue my care. This was the best decision I could have made for my recovery! The individualized and custom strength training programming and coaching has all been new to me, but it has been invaluable and I can feel myself making progress and getting stronger every week. I would have been lost in this final phase of rehab without Sarah's guidance. I still have some work to do until my foot is 100%, but I am finally back in ballet class and getting closer to where I was pre-injury. I dealt with MANY setbacks throughout this healing journey, and Sarah always helped my stay positive, put things into perspective, and keep pushing forward. Sarah's support has meant the world, and I am excited to see where these final few months with Momentum will take me!"

  • "I’m 55 and recovering from being hit by a car. Dr Pancoast was my PT directly after that accident, helping me work through multiple injuries and leading up to joint replacement surgery. I suffered major atrophy while healing and because I’m an active person I wanted more restoration than is typically provided by regular health insurance. So now Dr Pancoast is my strength coach. This is for me an amazing experience. Dr Pancoast is generous, encouraging and highly knowledgeable. She is designing workouts for me that are tailored exactly to my needs. Her work is yielding impressive results while protecting me from hurting myself trying to rebuild my body on my own. I could not be happier with this program! I highly recommend working with Momentum Performance & PT to improve your strength, heal what’s broken and build your physical resilience."
